We can't all be the next J K Rowling or Stephen King, but you can follow the footsteps of self-published writers Virginal Woolf(To the Lighthouse), G P Taylor (Shadowmancer) & Chris Paolini (Eragon)

Big Paw Books is my own company. It's aim is to print, promote and encourage traditional self-publishing and my work. Traditional self-publishing is when the writer publishes their work under their own imprint and takes responsibility for all aspects of the printing and promotion.
Why did I do it?

REVIEWS

Self Publishing Magazine, April 09

My first glance at the cover told me that I was not in this book's target audiance. I didn't hold out much hope of an enjoyable read. I was wrong. This a well written, well paced book and I was soon caugth up in its characters and plot. The author's excellent ear for dialogue brings her characters to life. Good value and a good read.

Chicklish - ,April 2009

This book was great. It was different, mysterious and cunning; it showed the ups and downs of fame...Towards the end it became a real page-turner, finding out about the saboteur.... read more from Chicklish!

Realistic and entertaining!

Young Performer, Mar/April edition 2009

A substantial and thought-provoking novel for readers aged 12+, Natural Talent is a mystery set in the film-making industry. It focuses on the experiences of the teenage cast:….but also tackling important themes of ambition, parenting, dyslexia, gender, teenage love, and associated ethical choices. Never overtly moralistic, it still leads the reader to think hard…… a, sympathetic insight into teenage situations and characters, and the technical interest in film-making… this is a novel that effectively pushes boundaries and offers real value.

Geoff Daniels, Christian Writers' Magazine, Jan 09

This is by far the best self-published book that I've read all year. In fact, it hardly reads like one at all and I had to check several times that it was actually self-published because I found it hard to believe. The storyline is engaging, the dialogue is realistic, and the characters are endearing, What more can I ask for. It combines mystery, love, stardom, and suspense in a very entertaining package and deals with a few challenging teenage issues in a competent way.. It's corny, but Ms. White definitely has some "natural talent" of her own.
